APRIL 2016 WEDDING
We arrived for a weekend Wedding in Boston. We had an outstanding room with a view of the John Hancock building. The room was state of the art. The staff is outstanding and very helpful. The location is in the center of it all. The Mall is attached which was great on Saturday with it raining outside. We went to lunch in the mall Legal Seafood. We walked on Friday to the North end for dinner and Quincy Market Place. I love Boston and this wonderful Hotel.
MARCH 2015 WEDDING
We wanted a Boston wedding that matched our style and there were plenty of options. The Westin was perfect in so many ways. Great location in the middle of everything for our out-of-town guests (we had alot). The accomodations were great, the food was AMAZING! Up until our wedding I have never heard of a venue serving 150 petit filets PERFECTLY! I got more compliments on the food than my dress (which I am very ok with). So many of our guests (some can be very harsh critics) said it was the best wedding they have ever been to!
More than anything, our choice to have it at the Westin was mainly because of the Wedding Coordinator Shauna Richmond. From the very first meeting, you could tell her passion was my wedding and still was even days after our event. She went above and beyond helping with room reservations, special requests and making sure the Groom knew what to do and where to go (and it worked)! She even went to pick up his tux for him the day of the wedding when it wasn't ready the day before. Seriously, who does that?!?!
The venue is gorgeous, beautiful views and the price was much less than we had anticipated. This is a must visit for anyone looking to get married in town!

OCTOBER 2014 WEDDING
My wedding was hands down the best party ever thanks to our wedding planner, Shauna Richmond!
I would highly recommend The Westin to any future bride and I would ask for Shauna if I were you :) My day was 100% stress free because Shauna took over all the details, every single thing you could think about was taken care of.
We had people show up that were not invited and she made sure they got seated, we needed Nigerian food, she got the chef Dan Pogue, to blow us out of the water with his meal offering. All our vendors were taken care of, I never had to call them after I passed them to Shauna. My sisters volunteered to help on the day of, that was totally unnecessary as she had staff waiting on us including David who was wonderful.
The Westin gave me the perfect wedding, I could not have asked for better service. The food, the staff, the ambiance, everything was exceptional and if I could give them more stars I would!!
SEPTEMBER 2014 WEDDING
Everything was absolutely perfect - that suite was absolutely AMAZING, I never wanted to leave!
Thank you so much for the robes, the strawberries, and the champagne! You guys are incredible, and it was so so so much fun to have that 'last' surprise at the end of the night. Such a thoughtful touch.
My only complaint is that it all went by so quick!!!
AUGUST 2014 WEDDING
We had such a fantastic experience at your hotel a few weeks ago that I had to write a quick email.
Shauna Richmond (our wedding specialist at the Westin Copley Place) was absolutely amazing and made every aspect of our wedding at the Westin unforgettable. In my job, I work with many coordinators and with many hotels all around the world on behalf of celebrities and I can honestly say that Shauna was one of the best I’ve ever worked with. You are very lucky to have her as a part of your team. She followed through with every one of our many requests no matter how small or how big of an ask it was and she did it extremely efficiently and had the perfect attitude throughout. She helped us create a custom menu, handled complicated rooming situations, was available seemingly 24/7 on phone/email, took care of last second crazy requests and so many more things above and beyond the call of duty. Shauna had every answer and it was one of the few times I’ve seen Suzy (my now wife) feel completely relieved of any anxiety after having a wedding related conversation. She was completely professional and at the same time fun to work with. I really could not have imagined a more perfect wedding on all accounts and a very large part of that is owed to Shauna.
NOVEMBER 2013 WEDDING
Dear Mr. Hammer,
We are writing to let you know what a wonderful experience we had at The Westin Copley Place recently. Our daughter, Katelyn, had her heart set on a Boston wedding, and fortunately for her and all of our guests, we selected your hotel. From our very first appointment over a year ago, until the afternoon of November 10th, when we checked out to return home, we were overjoyed with everything the Westin had to offer. Your hotel is clean, beautiful, and conveniently located in the city. What makes it most appealing is the competence and courtesy of your staff. We had over ninety of our wedding guests staying at your hotel, and they found their rooms to be ready earlier than expected, extremely well maintained, and very comfortable, and many of our family members and friends were granted late check out times as well. All of the food during the cocktail hour, the reception, and the brunch was beautifully prepared and delicious, and the service during each event was outstanding. The little extras you include in your wedding package certainly added to the overall ambiance of our function. Our positive sentiments have been echoed by so many of our guests as well, and we continue to receive compliments on this memorable family occasion.
During the last several months, we worked closely with Shauna Richmond, Sales Manager, Catering. What an incredible asset she is to your hotel staff! We found her to be extremely efficient and so personable. On numerous occasions, Shauna received telephone calls and emails from us, Katelyn, and our daughter, Kelly, who hosted the brunch for her sister, and no matter how trivial our questions were, she responded immediately and was always so helpful and accommodating. When we arrived on Thursday, November 7th, we were greeted by Shauna, and she graciously offered to help us unload our cars. It was at this time, we realized that what she had been promising us all along was actually coming true. She told us, "We want you to feel as comfortable as if you were at home, except you won't have to do any of the work." We know Shauna had a very busy Veterans' Day weekend with other important events which demanded her attention, but she went above and beyond to make us feel as though our wedding was her only responsibility. She always remained organized and focused on the details of our events. We had extreme confidence in Shauna, and we truly credit her with helping to make our daughter's wedding weekend perfect from start to finish.
We would also like to commend Yves for his immediate respone to our requests during the cocktail hour, the reception, and the Sunday morning brunch. He, too, was extremely helpful and kind. You are fortunate to have someone with his strong work ethic and pleasant personality on your staff.
We are now left with beautiful memories of our daughter's wedding. We would like to thank The Westin Copley Place and its staff, for you far exceeded our expectations.
